Counselling
Guiding the Mind Toward Recovery
At Nasha Mukti Kendra, counseling is the backbone of our rehabilitation process. It is during counseling that individuals open up, release their emotional burden, and begin to understand the root causes of their addiction. Our trained counselors and therapists use various approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care to guide patients toward recovery.
Individual counseling offers a private, judgment-free space where patients can explore their fears, past traumas, or patterns of behavior that led to substance use. Group counseling, on the other hand, promotes shared healing, support, and trust among peers walking similar paths. These interactions help patients feel less isolated and more connected, making it easier to break free from addiction.
Family counseling is also an integral part of our program, as addiction impacts the whole family. By involving loved ones, we not only rebuild trust but also equip them to support the patient in the long run. Our counseling framework is holistic and goal-oriented, designed to empower individuals emotionally and mentally for a lifetime of sobriety and growth.
